The owners of Il Pettirosso have just done up Il Rifugio, yet another delighful cottage enjoying the same spectacular views over the whole Amalfi Coast. The price? The same 80-stair walk up to access the place. Again, we’ve had countless guests at the Fiorita complex, all satisfied, who have all taken the stairs in their stride, i.e., slowly.
Il Rifugio is composed of two levels: At entrance level, you’ll find a single bedroom, small but nicely furnished, with its own bath (shower). Upstairs, there’s a sitting room enjoying those breathtaking views, plus a fully equipped kitchen from which French doors lead out onto Il Rifugio’s spectacular terrace. Off the living room lies the second, larger bedroom with a comfortable, divisible matrimonial bed, and en-suite bath. Amenities? Air-conditioning upstairs, washing machine, dishwasher, satellite TV, CD/DVD, and wireless high-speed internet. Daily housekeeping is included in the rental price. Everything Positano has to offer is within a few steps away.
