    Villa Bellini - Lake Como

    Accommodates 10 - 6 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, Swimming Pool

Here at Villa Bellini, you can have it all. For a price, but one well worth it. It's very close to perfection. We're talking about the guest house of an even grander villa along the southwestern shore of Lake Como, just a short distance from the famed Villa d'Este, and enjoying the same magnificent view over the lake and the surrounding mountains. This is absolutely THE most prestigious part of the entire lake district.

Ideally, the Villa Bellini is meant for adults. Four couples work just fine here. You can bring children - the owners have small children themselves - but this really is a luxury property, and children must behave.

Furnishings throughout are a delightful combination of comfortable antiques and Italian modern design. The living room is furnished with white sofas, has a working fireplace, and enjoys a gorgeous lake view. A separate dining room accommodates 10 comfortably and enjoys that same glorious panorama. The spacious, airy eat-in kitchen is a joy to work in and has every possible appliance, of restaurant quality. Plus, there's cable/satellite TV, both fixed and mobile phone lines, computer, and high-speed wireless internet.

The master bedroom suite has a fireplace, an indivisible American king-size bed and big en-suite bathroom. There are 5 other bedrooms: one matrimonial, two twins, and two singles, and three additiional full baths. The gardens of the Villa Bellini are considered some of the most historic and beautiful on Lake Como.

Guests will enjoy fresh flowers from the cutting and rose gardens. There is also an extensive vegetable garden and orchard so that guests can enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables during their stay.

The swimming terrace is spectacular. Filled with lemon and olive trees, this is the warmest part of the garden. The views of Lake Como are stunning from here. Overlooking the swimming pool is a 12th-century belltower, and you'll also find here a beautifully restored 200-year-old greenhouse.

The Villa Bellini property ends at the lakeshore. The dock area is beautiful. It is encased in antique Moltrasio stone both on the walls and on the steps leading to the water. The dock area is filled with roses, creeping jasmine, and oleander. There are two boats docked here. One is a 32' hand-crafted boat built of mahogany inside and out that is perfect for long cruises on the lake. The other is a 19' boat for village hopping, waterskiing, fishing and other sports activity. These boats are lent with a skipper.
