I Tetti - Rome

Accommodates 4— 2 Bedrooms — 2 Baths — Terrace

In the same palazzo as La Fontana (see separate description for detailed introductory remarks), but on the American fifth floor (with elevator), the architect-owner has recently completely done over I Tetti in impeccable taste.

Somewhat smaller than La Fontana, I Tetti is bathed in sunlight. You walk into a nice big living room, and then down a few steps to the dining area with table for 4 persons; the dining area is elegantly divided from the kitchen by a counter. The kitchen is fully equipped like the one in La Fontana. I Tetti’s two bedrooms are more or less equal, one with a matrimonial bed, the other with two twins. Both have adjacent baths, one with shower over tub, the other with shower only. The dining room gives out onto a beautiful at-level terrace with views over Roman rooftops and monuments; this terrace, which is furnished for eating outdoors, in turn leads up a staircase (small children beware!) to another, higher terrace with even better views. Again, daily housekeeping is included in the price at I Tetti, plus full A/C and independent central heating, satellite TV, VCR, and phone/computer hookup.

To us, I Tetti is the perfect 2-couple flat, but it would also be great for a family or a small group of single adults as well. The location is incredible, and so is the view and the amenities.
